Weirdest Double Bass

What is the weirdest material you guys have seen an acoustic guitar/double bass made from? I mean there are electric guitars made from aluminium, acrylic, fibreglass. Surely someone out in the wide web has made one from a strange substance. See through plastic double bass? Yay? Nay?

Most any guitar designed by the bloke who designed this chopper is full of funky materials.
