A little neck work...
Hi guys and girls,
Well,I got going on this neck finally. It's a 5 piece mahogany/bubinga for my Grand Concert guitar.
Here's a few pics:
Glued up and cut out

The brw overlay, truss rod cover, and template.
I think I'll go with a magnet again for the truss rod cover,

Here,I'm lining up where the binding will go on the fingerboard before I cut the taper,

Ready for some ears,

Here's the bubinga binding and Ind.RW sides,

Seconded, that headplate's Gaaaaawwwwwgeous & that's without finish. I'm going to have to wear shades when it's got a coating of jam on it.

Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.

Very cool Dave. Is the headstock scarf jointed or is it a one piece neck?

It's a solid chunk of mahogany-no scarf.
Kim-I wish I had more like this one, like a couple hundred to pick through!
Thanks everyone

Looks great Dave, as per your usual.
I think the Bubinga is a fine match for the rosewood!

Thanks Steve.
And I appreciate the tips on bending the Waterfall Bubinga.
You saved me from a lot more grief on these bindings !
