Mate, that is seriously cool. If there was an ANZLF coolometer, you would have broken it.
I hope it sounds as good as it looks.

A one of kind masterpiece ??

The only improvement I would suggest is to make it a leftie!

Cheers and look forward to the next one, (but I expect you would need a lie down after that effort, so I'll give you a couple of weeks)

Thanks y'all for the kind words, this is my fifth guitar and i've still got a lot of learning to do and patience to get, but i can't remember getting as much satisfaction as i do from this, from anything else i've built . Cheers Rod.

Hey Rod, looks fantastic. Can't wait to test it!! When you get a chance, can you put up a photo of the back - I'd love to see a clear view of the figure under the finish.

Rod, it turned out beautiful. I'm sure it sounds just as wonderful as it looks, but I wouldn't be opposed to hearing it for myself. Sound clip?

Nice work Rod .I can appreciate what you've accomplished, I've started an archtop as well . I see an endpin jack . Are you using a transducer ? I ordered McIntyre Feather and want to fit it before assembly but am worried about optium position. can it be positioned after ? How ? Anybody ?

Thanks Rod, appreciate the 'extra' effort you went to to accomodate my request :D & it hasn't disappointed, gorgeous....just gorgeous headstock & the purfling is well executed. Do you cut your own inlays? It looks like a ripper.

Bill , that isn't an endpin jack, that's a strap button, i decided not to put a pickup on this although i did plan to when i started the build. I think that when you are trying to market an instrument it should be one thing or the other, acoustic or electric, if somone buys an acoustic guitar that they like the sound of and decide that they want to plug it in, well it's not too hard to make the adjustments, but if you set up a guitar that plays better plugged in than not, the acoustic customer will be critical. I think that if i'm going to put so much effort into making an acoustic archtopand market it as such, i shouldn't compromise the instuments integrity by setting it up to plug in. I'm nowhere near as experienced as most dudes on here but that's the way i see it at the moment.. Cheers Rod.

Yes it does Stuart, if you read Rod's other 'Curly Maple' post (http://www.connor.net.au/anzlf/viewtopi ... 2242e3afb9) where you originally asked but I see you've since edited, I tried to answer as best I could there. :D

Cheers Nicko, that certainly makes a challenging task a tiny little bit less difficult.
