Well both the concert guitar and the workshop and progressing nicely.

Here are a few pics

I'm in the workshop and it's lockup stage but there is still a few things to be done. The aircon end there is going to be some glass luvers installed, the floor is to be sanded and the inside painted. So everything is just dumped in there for the moment untill I get organised. Here are a few pics. Hope the old server can handle all these pics.

I am so pleased with the natural light in there for my failing eyes. Fridge is just around the corner so the new shop is going to be my haven.

Thanks all for looking

Cheers

Nicely done Alan.

As for the shop, the only thing I'd suggest is to get anti-fatigue mats for in front of the benches. Easier on the knees and back. And as a real bonus, tools tend to not break when they hit them.

That's come out a treat mate. 2 steps to the fridge, great light and air conditioning. What more could you want.

The new camera takes some great pictures too.

Oh, and that new guitar has come out fantastic. Love the rope binding and slot head. Makes for a very nice vintage look.

mate that's some beautiful work in both workshop and guitars.

i'm surprised that with all that work that there's only one empty corona box on the bench though.

keep the updates coming.

There's a case of red wine on the shelf too - so no worries there. With that, plus a nice tonewood stash, you are going to be a happy man Alan. It is looking great. Nice guitar too.

Lillian: Yep the matts are a good idea. Standing on concrete for long periods of time is hard on the old body.

Allen: Yep the fridge is very handy. The weather here is just starting to warm up so thirsty work this guitar building.

Sebastiaan: I am a tidy person usually, sort of everything in it's place. I'm looking forward to getting the shop how I want it. Thanks for your support.

Liam: Cheers for your kind words. Yep the Corona is my favourite drop along with a nice dry red.

Cameron: The wood stash is grown nicely over the past few years and there is now enough sets there to keep me busy for quite a while.

Mark: Thanks mate for your encouragement. This is my first acoustic guitar build. I'm about to set the neck angle, do a fret job for the first time and then set her up. Still plenty of work left yet.

Thanks again everyone for your support and encouragement.

Cheers

Hi Al, all looks good, love the guitar. And the workshop will be a pleasure to work in by the looks of it. I like the idea of the high windows too, security, light, and still usable wall space. Well done mate.
I've nearly finished my new spray area, so I'll get back to my parlor build. Doing a solid body commission at the moment too, cant wait to get it out of the way, and get back to the acoustics.
