Electric Harp Guitar

Post by Lillian » Sun Mar 01, 2009 8:50 am

Okay, I laughed when I saw the title. I clicked on it any way just to see what he had to offer. I don't like the shape, but despite myself, I like the sound of it. Just thought I'd share.

With what he calls his instrument Lillian I assume he has a sense of humour. I agree with you too the sound was nice, sorta Mike Oldfield Tubular Bellsish.

Funny Jim, Fran made the same connection. I have to wonder if its a one trick pony.

He does say he makes it in different configurations and it is reasonably priced, not sure that I can see a huge market for Worllatron Electra Harpastars though but if someone wants one he would be the man to see I'm sure.

Im a bit short of firewood....

The guitar looks decidedly clunky and I dont understand why he doesnt have mini tuners on the sympathetic strings instead of the piano style tuners and the in built tuning key.

Ive seen a few electric harp guitars in the GAL Big Red Books and they all look much more graceful than this instrument.
