me find where to buy some Burled Jarrah, Red/Brown Mallee Burl, York Gum Burl, Coolibah burl and Concinna Burl. I have been trying a lot of online searhing and I have found a lot of US dealers but not very many Australian dealers. If anyone knows anything please help. I am looking for some Australian dealers who have these woods. Thanks for anyone who can help

I would suggest that you give Tim Spittle of Australian Tonewoods a call. Tim has a lot of excellent stock not listed on his website and is a very nice fellow to deal with. He is very reasonably priced for the great quality he provides and that is why he is an ANZLF preferred vendor. Tim's business is based in Perth, Western Australia, his phone number is 08 62782187.

I am sure he will do his best to help you out.

If Tim doesn't have what you need then I'd suggest Mark at 043 turning, he has a good range of burl at a fair price. Just Google '043 turning' and you should find his site.

I will have to try and get ahold of 043 turning. I see they have some nice burls pieces of lumber. I am hoping to find some that are big enough for my application and very very striking to look at such as.Image

From my experiece burls very a lot in price, also try http://www.glowackitimbers.com/ and there used to be a vendor called Brad's Burls in Mortdale in Sydney, they were very reasonable in price.

Ive got to ask, what are you using them for? Burls can be hard work.

it will be the top of a 7 string bass guitar. Another Burl will be used for the fretboard possible figured Jarrah or Mulga

unfortunately I haven't found any AMAZING burls yet. I have found quite a few on australianburls.com but I was hoping that there are some here in Australia that I can find. I will continue to search and hopefully find some somewhere.
