Dust Extractor Bags

I have one of these dust extractors. It didn't have an instruction manual, because it was set up in the shop (H&F) - demo unit. I wasn't offered a discount, but got 3m of hose for free. When I asked (about discount) he explained that it had never been turned on.

What I'd like to know is can I get a decent bag for the bottom, and do I wash the top bag?

I cleaned the top bag out once - in the back yard with a mask on, but I don't think I want to experience that again.

Cheers Hip.

And what do you guys do when the bottom bag is full? I mean what the hell do you do with all that dust? Put it on the garden? Throw it over the fence?

I clean the top bag by shaking it hard IN PLACE. The dust drops down through the cyclone opening into the bag below. Wait for 10 minutes or so and then empty the lower bag. Since the lower bag is non-porous, it should be nearly dust free when empty.
