At one time, when I had a real job back in the 1980's, I had a collection of nearly 300 vintage ukuleles. All gone to others now.

Yes, it was a sickness. In any case I took pictures of many of my and my friends old Hawaiian ukuleles. For those of you interested in creating a vintage look to your soprano or concert sized ukuleles, here's a link to several dozen different manufacturers from the 1910 - 1930 time period:

Seems to be trend to quite large upper bouts /tight waists.
Not all look gracefull.
