OK did some shaping of top Bud and elsewhere. Almost done ...I think. :P

OK here's the latest update. I worked on deepening and evening out of the stipple pattern and defining the shaped and veining work on leaves. Some undercutting to define shapes and also the stipple deepening also helped by producing more shadow. Rounded/softened the hard edges with a few grits of micro mesh which also polished high areas for light reflection and gives carving a more organic look/feel. Trying to decide whether or not to do something with the 1" space between the slots and under the point. If decide not to then it's onto the finish. I'll think about it over a cold brew... :)

Superb Chris. If it was mine I think I would do something in that space. A leitmotif ... leafmotif ... whatever.

Calling it finished and put an oil finish on it.
Probably better to stop while I'm ahead... :P
