Dave, a little work is needed on that line about the neck. Bring your revision to the marketing meeting tomorrow a.m.

Ok, thanks for the interpretation Graham. (As well as the kind word!)
So, to correctly answer the question do I ever "stuff up"-- the answer, alas, is
oh yeah. Do I ever. But I try not to post pix of those.

Steve

P.S.--Thanks Waddy, I do need to look into that. Thanks for the recommendation.

Great looking guitar, as usual, Steve! Beautiful work, and the appointments are stellar.

Hey thanks, Pat!
We'll be posting this little guy on the site, perhaps next week.
Owner comes to get it the 29th.
It's fun having them around this long. I hate to see them go....

Steve, this guitar inspired (so far just pieces and parts), a couple of guitars in Osage Orange using Bocote binding and organic back stripe (following the sap line.) Osage Orange starts out yellow, but ends op golden/blond and the Bocote may be the perfect accent wood.

Thanks for your inspiration!

Dennis

Wow Stephen. Gobsmacking stuff.
Everything ties in beautifully and has that perfect blend of
'Ooh I want to pick her up and play her' and at the same time 'This thing deserves to be encased in glass for all posterity'.

I've got to say that the work that gets put out and shown on this forum
from OZ, NZ and our international brethren is second to none,
and is nothing short of an inspiration to what is achievable with
alot of commitment and attention to detail.

Still the best luthier's forum in my eyes.

cheers, Stu

Dennis-- thanks for the vote of confidence. As I see it, the strength of viewing each other's work is just that--ideas, a nudge in another direction that hasn't occurred to us, inspiration, etc. Glad to help pay back what I've been gleaning from others for soooo long. Now for sure, we want pics of that Osage/Bocote guitar. See, I've got some Osage here at the shop, and yup, I'm stumped what to put on it!

Stu--holy cow..."encased in glass for all posterity"? And I thought it was Americans afflicted with hyperbole. Many thanks, mate.
Your comments are almost as heart-warming as Martin's, which brings me to:

Martin--I've got warm fuzzies again. You made the weekend!

Thanks guys,

Steve
