Australian woods for tops

Driving my daughter to dancing the other week i noticed a huge pile of logs from a freshly felled Norfolk pine in a truckies layby (it must have been a massive tree) and started planning some of its future as bracing, soundboard possibilities etc.
Shouldn't have stopped at Mickey Dees for lunch cause the whole bloody lot was gone an hour and a half later.
