With my home made mini cyclone in the mix I should have some halfway decent dust extraction going soon.

I have an older model of that same vacuum. It is very good. I have it connected through a "Dust Devil" mini cyclone, and it is very efficient.

I thought that I would add that I just completed putting up 40 sheets of drywall. Folks told me to not attempt to use my Festool because drywall dust kills vacs. Well I did it anyway and no problem what so ever. In addition, since it is HEPA rated it really did remove the dust and not just strain it into finer particles and crap it back in the room.
Great product!
The real value of this vac is that it is the heart of the Festool system where their other tools, routers, saws, ROS all attach directly to the vac and permit us to capture dust at the source.
