Using veneer shell.

This is a really simple one cutting shell veneer with a razor blade.

Haven't done any for a while, (busy as) so did a quick photo of a star I had to make for a kids headstock.

Its is very flimsy stuff, breaks real easy, so use a razor blade and do a few light passess.

Apart from that, can make a complicated inlay (remove wood) extremely simple.
