Adelaide International Guitar Festival

The Adelaide International Guitar Festival is happening down in SA from July 17th to 20th.

One of the themes is "Meet the Maker", where a bunch of makers of guitars and auxiliary equipment will be telling the audience about what they do. I'll be there hiding behind the more illustrious makers and will be talking about innovations in guitar design, particularly as seen on my guitars, of which there will be a few samples on display. In general, it's more of a performer's festival with a whole host of famous players (300 of 'em) demonstrating their talents, but there is free observation of master classes, exhibitions and talks etc. etc..

If you're in the area, has to be worth getting along to.

Strato Anagnostis from the Australian Guitar Making School will be there and doing one of these "meet the maker" sessions

He said he was going to bring along a few student guitars, and a few students too.
