Keep it out of the heat, if you ever have to leave it in a hot car (temperature, not stolen) take the tension off the strings.

I wrote the attached sheet ages ago. Always meant to pretty it up some, but it communicates what I want the customer to understand.

I went and saw Tommy Emmanuel Thursday the 12th December, It was what is called a Master class.
For $100 per head, we sat in a room at a hotel, Milano's Tavern Brighton, with between 250 and 300 other people. Tommy was to come on and talk and play for one and a half hours . He spoke about his life, his guitars ,3 that he uses, his set ups , Amps and pick ups . how he started playing, The lot . He took plenty of questions, there were quite a few younger players ,some with guitars to be signed. He ended up speaking for over three hours.
The best thing I have seen in a long time. He is one nice Bloke.
I got to say hi afterwards , I couldn't think of what to ask him . I got a bit nervy!! he's to famous
After I left , I was wishing I had asked," how many guitars have you worn out ". Maybe next time .
A Bldy Good Quality night out .
It looks like he does attack his guitars with sand paper ,they are used so hard.
I wonder if he notices the sound changing , or the feedback getting worse?

I remember seeing him here in Christchurch quite a few years ago and he was chatting (inbetween toons) about his style and guitars. He said that he often got offered guitars from luthiers but refused the offers because he would feel guilty about ruining some really nice guitars (not sure what that says about Maton then   ), most of his guitars only lasted him a year.

As far as your original question Jeff, most of my customers have played guitars for a number of years and so fortunately have some clues when it comes to care of their instrument so I don't publish specific care instructions but I do cover my arse with the term 'mistreatment' in my warranty which includes rough treatment and "have a go" attitudes when it comes to truss rods & other owner operated adjustments (saddles & nuts e.t.c, unless it's an electric of course).
"Jesus Loves You."
Nice to hear in church but not in a Mexican prison.
