Guess the seller's idea of looking after his/her planes is different than mine, but a bit of clean up with some wet & dry & TLC and they'd be a good buy. I recently saw a compass plane in a second hand shop on a trip to the North Island & they were wanting $200NZ for it (complete with chips in the cutting edge)!
