Spanish Cedar?
Spanish Cedar?
In the 80's in Qld. I could get "Mexican Cedar" or it was also called " Plantation Cedar ". It was used as a ring in for Red Cedar. Anyone know about this timber? It looks a lot like the necks I see called Spanish Cedar. I ask because I still have a 5x5 x 3m. I'll post a photo tomorrow.

Re: Spanish Cedar?
I just googled it and I think it's Spanish Cedar. The resinous smell and light weight make me think it is. I'd like to flog it, I can post a sample. I hope this isn't stepping on any toes. It's a one off.

I'd say your safe Bill....
You are able to post things like this in the Buy Swap and Sell section where a few of us put a few sticks every once in a while...
