Mmmmmm Blackwood heaven by the looks Bob I Like the reso weezy with the burst edges, looks really good in a satin finish! That Kill guy makes some nice instruments!

Some very tidy work on display there Bob, seems to be quite a few class builders coming out of the woodworks in Vic. You could be a bit more generous with shots of your weissenbornes mate..we all know with that fit, finish, figure and blackwood sap bindings that they must be the work of one Robert Connor of McGuitars even if the only clue is just an artsy fartsy side shot of the waist...

Well sort of Jeremy but Bob could have saved you from searching all over the place to show me what I had already seen by simply showing his beaut weissenukes in situ at Port Fairy right here in THIS thread. It would not be fudging to show them again in a different setting because the topic invites just that and I thing Bob has been a little too efficient with images of his own display...if you know what I mean.

Sorry I missed it, but looks like I am going to make Echuca. Drove the car for the first time in 3 weeks today. Is nice to be mobile again. Funny how drivers stop for invalid old farts with a walking stick crossing the road.

Yes, thanks Bob, some really nice pics there. It was a great show I thought. Good variety, quality instruments, good company, good crowds.
My highlight was peering over Harry Manx's shoulder while he played one of Tim Kill's evil machines. Very cool.
One customer of mine who'd just bought a cigarbox guitar was opportunistic enough to get Harry's autograph on it... probably doubled it's value in a stroke!!! (Why didn't I think of that!)

No sales on the weekend Peter but quite a bit of interest.

One thing that was different this year was we had a demo session of our instruments in the folkworks building on Saturday evening along with a Q and A session for the public.

It's palnned to do it again next year maybe focusing on tonewoods so I'll bring along some samples for the public to fondle and we can have a chat about the various characteristics of the timber we use.
