The Blackwood that got away

While I'm sitting here at the puter , I thought I'd share a view on one of my recent Blackwoods . The figure shown is from fairly deep in the tree , the outside of the tree was virtually burl .
Except , I was about ten years too late . Very little useable wood was left between the cracks , rotten core and termite damage . I saved every possible useable bit . Maybe even found a few back and sides sets which I'll ferret away into my personal use / superannuation stack.
