That's a great deall. I have one of these. The only complaint I have about the unit is that the collet gets a little rusty with use and the 1/4 inch insert also gets rusty as a result. Having a good break Rob?

Yes Stu having a good break thanks.
Rusty collet, thats a strange one, must be moisture in the work shop ?
I have had a few of these, broke one once with a big router bit, a 50mm rebate cutter, the biggest rebate cutter Carbitool had,[ My mistake, a crazy big bit]the vibrations cracked the Armature or the machined shaft the Armature is on where the collet screws on to, its a one spanner job with a button that stops the shaft spinning.I had to drop back to the 35 mm cutter.
The previous design was a two spanner job and stronger. Both great routers though.

Same as mine, Ive had that router for about 16 years now, its strapped to the underside of the router table.

Only issue I ever had was the aluminium base cracked and split. Had to weld it up and skim the bottom to make it flat again but thats the only thing thats ever gone wrong with it

Would gladly buy another.
