Frankly it looks more like mildew finish than graceful patina - glad this Mac doesn't do odour.

I've worked on many guitars worse than that over the years, but I don't sit around waiting for them to come in. I've found that if the customer is willing to pay the estimated cost, and the job gets done, then better things often follow. Often the customer does not like the cost involved and leaves me the guitar, if I fancy the challenge it will get repaired one day.
But I don't think I would buy that guitar for the pleasure of repairing it.
