Has anyone here used the pickguards from ALS

Does anyone here have experience of the self adhesive pickguards from Australian Luthiery Supplies. I have one of these I am about to put on my recently completed guitar, but having not used these before I wondered if anyone could recommend them ( or not ).

In particular - I have heard that some pickguard material can be prone to shrinkage which can lead to them curling and lifting, and others that are very thin and prone to scratching badly.

For identification - these guard are labeled with Sony Chemicals Corporation on the back.
