so i find myself in need of a uke side bender in order to begin the building of an empire 8)

no dramas. i built one. i has not been tested yet but i've come up with a bit of an innovation.

of course it's most likely that this has been done before.

Looks like it should do the trick Liam. The one thing that catches my eye though is the "Plastic" looking pipe that you have at the waist. Is it going to be able to take the heat from the blanket?

Those things get really hot. I've melted a couple of plastic jawed spring clamps the first time I used mine attempting to keep the slats together.

One option would be to turn something similar out of wood on the lathe at the Guild.
