Whoo Hoo! back on line after changing ISP's. They all say it's only going to be a couple of hours, but it ends up being 4 days. I suppose I shouldn't complain. Once the new router and software arrived it was a breeze.

Some East Indian fret boards arrived yesterday, so I'm going to be packaging up orders that I can complete, and get them out. Stay tuned for further developments.

Update on the Fret Board Order.

The latest box of fretboards has arrived, and I've done a tally of what Bob still needs to send. I let him know the totals last night. It looks like one more box should be able to get us squared up.

Since most people that are waiting for their order still need something that will be in the last box, I'm holding off on sending out until I can complete it. If you are in a panic for something, there are lots of Ebony and IRW fret boards. Some Ebony bridge blanks, and lots of IRW bridge blanks. There aren't any Ebony head plates, so can't help you there.

I'm crossing my fingers that this will be able to be finalized by the end of June.

Bob has told me that he will get the last box out to us when he gets back from the ASIA conference next week. It's getting close to being finished people. :D

I know this is in the wrong section.

But where is the best place you have bought Ebony fret boards apart from this group buy?

Cheers

I'd recommend either RC Tonewoods, who is supplying this order, Allied Luthierie has a great selection, or Tim Spittle may have some ebony.

There haven't been any orders shipped out lately.

I'm short of bridge blanks and head plates, along with some fret boards, and can't completely fill anyones orders. If anyone needs ebony or IRW fret boards to keep their project going, I've got lots of them and can get them out to you, and the rest later.

I've just received a email from Bob Cefalu that the last of the order (if it fits in one box) will be going out the door this week for sure.

As soon as they arrive I'll be getting everyones order out to them. I need the room as this stuff is piling up pretty high.

The very last of the fret board, bridge blank order has arrived, and I've got the last packages all set to ship out. Only my stock and a couple of others were left, so to most of you this doesn't really matter. But it's a big deal to me.

I'd like to thank everyone waiting for their order on their patience and Bob Cefalu's perseverance to get everything to us with the sever limitations on weight that the post office holds him too.

Also the very large extra expense that he's shouldered on the shipping cost from the original quote.

I'd personally like to recommend that if anyone is looking to add to their tonewood stash, that they first consider RC Tonewoods, as a token of our appreciation on what he's done for us.

Allen I would like to thank again you for putting this order together. Thanks to BobC from RC Tonewoods also for the excellent service and quality wood received after so many bad issues. It makes the process of buying quality wood very easy for a novice like me.

Thumbs up to both of you!

Cheers
