Interesting, there were mumblings at last year's show about the lack of value for money for exhibiters but there is a new promoter this year.
Drum sander for $1401, Sherwood, does anyone have experience of Sherwood brand?
I'll get in first with joke about "I hope its not highway robbery"

Quite frankly I find it difficult to buy anything from TC now days and not be completely disappointed with the quality of product. Seems unless the item is a reputable brand which they are on selling like Veritas etc, (and they don't have many of those brands nowadays because as soon as something looks good they quickly run off to Asia to have it poorly copied) then most of the products they sell are shelf fillers just taking up space in your workshop until they are relegated to land fill where they should have gone in the first place.
Rubbish clamp which slip or never grab in the first place, so called mitre jigs which change settings with each new push through the slot, flimsy brittle plasticy bits which snap and break just looking at them rendering the tool useless, plasiticy rubber bits which slide and fall off never to be found again, poorly engineered stuff which would never be capable of performing the intended task properly in the first place, what the f%&k is the point in waisting ur money and subjecting the planet to further abuse by encouraging the ongoing manufacture of this environment sputum?
Ah, feeling much better now.
On the other hand if you stick with the good stuff like Veritas then 15% is good
Cheers
