I was interested in a fix for this as I saw it with my last build and just decided to live with it.

Cheers Mark, hopefully all will go well. Got the bindings finished off today, I think gluing the bindings is my least favourite part of the build. Didn't turn out too bad this time, I've done worse! Having spent a few nights browsing the forum and looking at current builds it's obvious I'm about 8 years outta date with my soundboard bracing...
Lots more reading to do it seems.

Yeah had a look at the bolt-on necks last night and looks like a much more adjustable way of getting it done.

I think I'll stick to the dovetail for this one only because I'm almost ready to get it done and look at making up some bolt-on jigs for the next one. Thanks again for the info.

I was planning a dovetail for the neck as that's what I'm tooled up for. Maybe I need to do some research before I proceed in that area, thanks for the heads up.
