Mango falcate OM with florentine cutaway

Learnt a ton and made plenty of mistakes including real trouble with the projected neck angle despite sooooo much prep work. I have put in sound mass and the lower bout back brace ...

Beautiful work alright. You have really a great visual balance of the bridge which I often think look cockeyed on multiscales :cl :cl

Also very envious of your fp job!

From either the book or the course, I think I remember that not much can be inferred from braced plates due to coupling effect

Yet more hi-tech with an alternative bridge rotation measurement device - a smart phone app. Plenty accurate as it turned out.
How good is that, no jig required!

Re: Compound radius/conical fretboard advice

Thanks Steve, well put together jig! Unfortunately I will have to wait until I have long enough linisher before I could have a go at that. Ok, so after quite a bit of youtube/google research I think I have my head around the process and I now have a plan to proceed. As I often find years old threads...

Re: Compound radius/conical fretboard advice

Having written that all out, I think I have figured out that if the edges of the fretboard are even along their length the angle should not change. It is just the centre of the fretboard at the nut end, but as that diminishes to 0 at the saddle.

I am intending on doing this by hand with different radii sanding blocks but am just trying to work this through my head and any advice help understanding the process would be greatl...

Re: Getting sued and going to court

Steve, Normally there is a compulsory mediation or pre-trial conference first, the aim of which is to try and get the parties to negotiate a settlement with the aid of a mediator and if that fails the matter is then set down for a second date for adjudication. The problem is sometimes if you do not ...

Re: Getting sued and going to court

That sucks Steve, I assume it is in a self-represented jurisdiction in WA, minor civil case in the Mags Court? Unfortunately access to "justice" without lawyers also means any one who can fill out a form can waste the courts and a traders time. I have a quite a bit of commercial/trader advocacy expe...
