Neck repair
I have a Walnut guitar that i built about 6 months ago, turned out real nice, played beautiful and had a fantastic tone. Anyway i'm not sure why or how but the guitar developed a bad case of fret buzz, when i look down the neck i can see it's warped. I tried a refret but that didn't work so i'm thin...

Hi Craig, yes i pin the neck with 2 tapered pins 1 from each side, the holes are reamed with a tapered reamer and pins are made to suit, works well, also makes it a bit easier to remove neck if need be. Wayne

It is slightly smaller than a dread, the timber is also called Carribean r/wood but it's not a true r/wood ( metopeum brownei ) it's non porous so no grain filling which to me is great because i fp all my guitars so this one will be a lot easier. I haven't used it before but the tone is supposed to ...

This is my 6th guitar but 1st cutaway. Had some headaches bending the cutaway, couldn't pull it into my mould so had to finish it on a hot pipe. I used Adirondack spruce for the soundboard and Koa for bindings and end graft. I used Ebony for fretboard and bridge. I installed the tuners, nut and saddle today, strung it up all seems good got a nice tone to it. Just needs to be unstrung so i can polish the nut and saddle, steel wool and oil the...
