Re: Durobond laquer

I use the stuff for anything that needs a nitro finish. It's just about as idiot proof as nitro gets. Dilute it about 50% with their thinners and don't spray at RH >60% or you'll get blooming. Re: Classical Guitar Construction

Thanks for that very useful tip. My Contreras, that I have played for thirty years is delightful so I may copy the bracing from that. At least I know it sounds beautiful. What do you think? There's a plan for my take on a Fleta in "the book" (http://www.goreguitars.com.au/main/page_the_book_overvie...

Re: Lightweight router recommendations?

Nick, The Bosch P50 is a great lightweight router. I've had mine for over 30 years and it still works fine. A near equivalent is available from Ozito. I have 3 of these. Re: Guitar Design Software

If the Mac version of the Jon Sevy software isn't working for you, email Jon direct. He's very help and put the software up there for people to use. If it's not working, he'll likely help you out. He was kind enough to help me out when I had some issues with the Windows version.

Re: Guitar Design Software

It depends what you mean by "Design"! If you're just looking for something that will help you draw outline shapes of guitar bodies, try this: http://gicl.cs.drexel.edu/people/sevy/luthierie/software/software.html Scroll down to the Guitar Design application. It works very well and you can even do he...
