Paul, Selective Service is our Draft Board. Every boy has to register on their eighteenth birthday. It is supposed to make it easier for them to find you if we ever go back to a draft.

Well done Hesh. I'm anxious to hear it sing. I know it will be stunning to hear. And of course it will be simply beautiful. And we couldn't agree more with your message. Most of you know I wore a uniform for many years and wore it proudly. My son was just a year old when all this first began. Two we...

Hesh, I thought you were "antiquing" it.

David, I may have misunderstood you, but I get the distinct feeling that you really aren't a fan of bagpipes.

I remember a thread over at MIMF about dealing with fret boards back bowing after frets were installed. The thought was that the barbs were not setting into the sides of the slot, so they were forcing the board to back bow. One of the remedies was to press the frets in with the fretboard off of the ...

Tom, nicely done. I keep coming back to look at them. I'm trying to figure out what it is about them that I like. I can't pick one thing, so it must be the whole package. Oh, welcome aboard.

Sorry to hear about that Sebastian. Be good and do what the guys in white tell you to do. Do your physical therapy exercises and hopefully you can go back to life as it was before. And if it makes you feel any better Fran simply stepped off of a curb on to pavement and broke her ankle in two places....

Serge, merci frère. Un jour, je vais réussir. Kim, Bob and Craig, thanks. Craig, I wrestled with completing the troji for a couple of weeks. After seeing your creations, I was inspired. I wasn't sure how to make it better than Rod's design, but I really thought about it. In the end I went with fun...

Thanks guys for the kind words. I'm not much for showing off my shop and stuff, but I didn't want ya'll thinking that I was some sort of bar fly. I'm slow getting to my first, but I'll get there. Ryan moved to Denver last week, so I'm commandeering his room. It'll take a couple of weeks, (all right,...

Well, I have spent most of the past two weekends under the house, in the crawl space putting up insulation. Ah, the joys of owning your own home. The garage is too cold to paint in now and I will not paint in the house, so its just going to have to wait until next spring for the sides to get painted...

Allen, if you had not said anything I would have thought that you had designed the guitar the way we see it now. I like the sound port where it is. It seems to be pointed towards the player. Can't wait to see it finished.

Thanks Bob. I was having a hard time judging its width from Stew Mac's pictures.

There is a seller on Ebay that has aluminum extrusion that might work for a knock off of the jig. Just thinking and plotting.

I was wondering about surface contamination from the foam , should it be covered? It will be easy enough to make slip covers for the pieces, but why bother if it isn't necessary. I need to add another set of spring hinges. The ones I found at the Borg really aren't that strong. I'm also going to pai...
