Great. Chris gave excellent service while at LMI. I once ordered a bunch of dishes and the wrong sizes got delivered. Chris said to keep the dishes and he'd send the correct ones.

Steam bending isn't necessary unless the wood you're bending is thick and won't yield on a bending iron with a spritz of water. I assume you're laying up rib sections over an internal mould as you'd do for a lute? The rib sections will only need to be around 2-3mm thick to be able to be bent on an i...

Hi, yes I was thinking the same thing, I haven’t opened one of those emails for a month. I wait till I need something. Back in the day I remember I used to enjoy getting their paper catalog in the mail. Taff Ive still one of those huge folders chock full of info that Allied Lutherie used to send you.
