Sound file for last classical

Been searching for this mp3 file for months and finally found it. Its a guy by the name of peter Spooner playing my first classical and the voice is that of Kylie Cowling, bass player with the crazy Adelaide all girl band "Legless". Grant, Routing a truss rod channel deeper with neck on the guitar is not a huge issue. Make up a routing jig from plywood or MDF and secure it temporarily onto the neck using wood screws. My jig is just a length of MDF with a slot routed through it to allow the router cutter to protrude below. Onto ...

Nice work Taffy.

Im intrigued by the large hole in the top under the bridge to accomodate the pick-up. This to me looks like problems waiting to happen. I dont quite follow why this is required for a pick up..I assume it's a piezeo job that just sits in the bottom of the saddle slot.

Kims on the money, If its one of those double acting truss rods we bought from LMI recently, just roughen up the top of the metal bar, fit the rod in the slot and then fit the wooden fillet coated with araldite on sides and bottom of same. Watch you dont use too much Araldite on the fillet or it mig...

Dom, There are also asthetic reasons why I do my scarf joint differently from the way John's done his. IMO it looks neater having the joint visible over the nut/headstock section of the neck rather than further down the neck. On a classical the side plate on the tuners neatly cover the splice and it...

Hi John, Looks like youre making some progress there. Just one thing....I may be seeing things but that scarf joint on that neck doesnt look quite right. One more idea. I have my go-bar deck set up in middle of the workshop sitting on an patio table. That way I can get in to all sides of the thing. When not in use the deck can be dismantled and the table stored away.
