Re: Whatnot Guitars

That's a great looking guitar. My only criticism is that it's so shiny it's hard to see it through all the reflections. Lots to be proud of there.

Wasn't wise to leave the catalog laying about with hints for presents without removing the pages of the acquired bits.

If there can be a plus side to selling off good gear, he's at least going to get about what he had in it back. It's better than it going of pennies on the dollar.

Be safe out there and don't forget to pack the bosun's chair in case the rig loses water again.

Fran totally enjoyed your dissertation of the song, but says, "Damn you Kim!" She can't listen to it without dissecting it now.

Re: The Thunderbird

Awesome : ) I am just going for a bolt on neck too...when you made the neck did you use a single piece of wood or multiple laminates like Gibson does? I am tossing up between these two pickup manufacturers, who have apparently emulated or reverse engineered the original Thunderbird pickups - http:/...

Re: Scraper

I have had both scrapers now for a bit. Let me just say Nick, the next time you are in town lunch is on me. Thanks so much for posting about these little beauties. I can hold them and use them with very little trouble and pain. The heel of my neck is now cleaned up, well, for the most part. And I ca...

Re: Saint Matthews in Auckland

Thanks. I wanted to make sure that it wasn't an internet fake floating about. I knew about the bill, but I wasn't sure that a church would be so blatantly supportive. I love the cake. For a lot of reasons. The other one is a bit over the top for a billboard.

You guys rock.
