Blackwood and bunya concert

This one's braced really lightly and sounds nice. Top- Bunya Back and Sides- Blackwood Fretboard and bridge- She-oak Bindi...

Re: Bolt On Neck System With No Neck Angle Adjustments Needed.

Cool Strato, that all makes pretty good sense to me. Thanks so much for taking the time to explain it. How do you think the joint will go over the long term? I've been using a Spanish heel for some ukulele builds and love it. I'm planning my first steel string guitar build down the track and am curr...

Re: 8 String Baritone

Thanks Allen. Do you have a bit of a formula you use or do you just have a sense of it after making so many?

Re: 8 String Baritone

Beautiful work as usual Allen. Did you have to go much heavier on the bracing for the 8 string?

Re: Bolt On Neck System With No Neck Angle Adjustments Needed.

I like the look of that Strato, great idea. Is it hard to set the neck angle?

Thanks for posting.

Re: First Build- Bunya and silky concert uke

Thanks everybody for the encouragement. Think I'm hooked now, I'm finding myself daydreaming about better ways to do things. Just built myself a fox bender and the next lot of builds are under way. Going to try tenor and soprano ukes this time. Must say I'm inspired (awed...) by the quality of work ...

Thanks for the complements. Lots of room for improvement though I'm afraid. Found the binding really hard to do, something I'm hoping to get better at.
