Allen, If your parlor sets are too small for a L-00 you may want to try the L-1 that you see in the pic of Robert Johnson. The lower bout is 13 1/2". In the Gibson flat top book they say the scale length is just under 25". I plan on using the Martin 24.9" when I build myself a L-1 sometime this year...

Bob, I find that Native Olive back and side assembly weight as normal for a dread. I would think no more heavier than rosewood. May I inquire of the wood used for neck and tail blocks, linings, and back braces. Could be a lot of weight in those parts. I like the weight of a guitar to be balanced so ...
