Re: Philippine Mahogany
My eagle-eyed wife spotted a broken guitar out on the kerb-side collection pile a while back. It was an solid-topped Martinez with a snapped neck and a couple of other injuries. Anyway I eventually got around to making a new neck for it. It was my first crack at a dove-tail neck so I didn't want to ...

So this evening I taught myself how to animate the switch position diagram. It's not so hard after all.

I wish I was that clever. No. I drew the positions diagram but not the animation. I found that years ago on the net when I made my 4way Tele.

Re: Wiring help.
Hi, Nick. I have found it a help to have a visual aid to help get my easily distracted brain around switches. Most likely is a short where you disconnected and reconnected the neck cover ground. other than that I'd look for a blob between switch lugs. Just print this and draw your wiring over the po...

Re: Whatever happened to...Lutec 1000 free energy generator?
After looking at those links of yours Derick I found there were a few guys doing that one. One of them didn't use the lighter he coiled the lead for the power board and placed a crystal on the coil then directed the beam of one of those little laser light things through the crystal and ran his vacu...

I went to school with her! She used to fart and burp a lot and tell unsavoury jokes. We all called her "Foul Kate".

Re: I need some help!
Hi Martin To start basic picking I would use just thumb and two fingers. Aim at a "Boom/chuck/chuck" 3/4 pattern; playing the bass note with the thumb and then two treble strings together in the chord. It will sound a bit "country & western" to begin with but it gets you in the habit of letting the ...

Re: Ziricote and WRC Parlour
Sorry, Paul but that is NOT a guitar. It is, by every definition, a MIRROR! I'm with Jim....couldn't ya scuff it up a bit so we can see the wood? Forget KHz.....How many Lumens is it rated at?!!! :?: That is one absolute Gorgon-slaying, Hubble-scoping, Narcissus-making geetar! Fantastic! :cl :cl :cl...

Re: What is this?
No worries, Paul. It's very intriguing. I'm taking it over to Strato's class this week for a look-see. Research so far suggests 19th century. Very small brass frets. It's very light in weight. Has a one piece back. You might have a clue what the b&s wood is. I'm guessing Maple but not sure. Jim, the...
