Beautiful work Trent- been meaning to have a go at some bevels but must admit I find it a bit intimidating- these look superb!
Ken Everett's course is a really good place to start. I couldn't get my head around it until I went through his course.

very nice Jim. What sort of distance from the fretboard are you placing your 'e' strings? The bass 'e' looks very close to the edge, I assume to accommodate a particular playing style?

This is slightly embarrassing. It is actually a lutz SB not sitka. So yeah, still need to work on my attention to detail

Anyway, here is the promised sample:

I did have some questions though: what is the glue he is using? what is the binding he is using that is so flexible? did he skip grain filling? is that just a well tuned scraper he is using for cleaning up the bindings / glue / filler? I was left with a similar list of question! Those binding seem ...

Direct Deposit from their Bank to yours. This one is prefered by most of my clients in Europe.
Allen is this just as simple as swift, bsb & account number via email or on a vincoie or is something else required?

Overseas payments

How is everyone dealing with receiving funds from overseas. I've set up a paypal so I could invoice overseas but the merchant fees are more than I expected at 3.6%. For $5k that is $180! Seems a lot of money compared to doing things domestically. I did not think to mention anything about merchant fe...

Sitka & blackwood OM 14fret falcate

Recently finished this 14 fret falacate braced OM. Bit of kitchen sink build with arm bevel, rib rest and what I am calling a Siena cutaway. I should have some sound sample in a couple of weeks to add but thought I would throw up the pics now. My first use of stainless steel frets and attempt at sem...

Wow there is a lot going on there Mark. Great that you go good sounding instrument. How do you like the multiscale? I've yet to attempt that. Any pics of your skew falcates? I too am unconvinced on the scoop but do them anyway :P
