Most versatile and most used tool gotta be my Dewalt table saw, love the double rack and pinion fence incredibly accurate.
the router table is getting alot of use lately though.

Re: Re-Topping a Takamine
Wow looks fantastic Allen!!!
beautifully executed repair, rightly so the owner is chuffed.
its a great exercise to do, but bloody difficult to charge for eh,
i probably would have tried to upsell him to a new guitar, rather than repair it...haha.

Re: Truss rod tightened to the max but neck still not strai
Hi Jonny, I've stuck this problem a couple of times on repairs, i wonder what strings were on it, if it was a heavy guage over time it may have curved your neck, changes in temperature can also move your neck, poor neck wood ie not well quartered, maybe the truss rod isnt set deep enough. To fix it y...

Re: Bending Irons
Hi, If you want a cheap and cheerful bending iron suggestion, use a high wattage clothes iron, yip a clothes iron. make sure you take off the flimsy base cover so the steel plate is revealed, weld a piece of pipe to it, you may need a buffer piece of steel to give you clearance for tight bends. you ...
