Hi Dave, Did you use a plan for this guitar? I'm interested in building a 00, 12 fret and slotted headstock. I've had a look around the guitar builder forums but can't find a plan thats suitable. finished the 00-12 fret

I finally found the time to finish this one guys. It's finished with nitrocellulose lacquer.Carpathian spruce top.Tassie Blackwood back and sides. BRW-bridge,fb,rosette,headstock overlays and curly maple bindings. I just got it strung up today. Here's a few pics..... http://www.anzlf.com/phpBB2/user...

Thanks again, Steve, I changed my truss rod access up to the headstock too, because I thought with the fb. ext. tenon in the way it would be easier.I could use two bolts in the center this way. And it worked out well. It's easier to adjust without the strings in the way also. thanks. Allen, Yeah tha...

OK, Alan here's some shots of the double mortise and tenon . Martin, Lookin' Goood so far ! I agree that Shanes' Lutz is an excellent Top wood. My SJ that I built with Lutz IS the best sounding guitar I have made. You gotta love that wood. I like the maple binding too. Do you use a vacuum hold down to route your binding channels? I'd like to see your set-up.

Lillian, I have the Stew-mac vice too. I like it a lot for holding the guitars neck with the urethane lined swivel jaws.
