Re: Best way to get Instruments Overseas
I have sent probably around 70 or 80 mandolins and mandolas to the USA and Europe. With one or two exceptions I have always used DHL. Re: Table Saws..whats everyone got?
Have you ever regretted not getting a larger 12" saw at all ? Not at all, those big saws are scary dangerous. Mine is an old Durden Pacemaker. 2HP motor. Probably over 40 years old but built like a tank. Cast iron, weighs a ton, took 2 of us to move. Bought second hand 15 years ago. After regreasing the bearing and a good clean up has been running smooth and accurate and trouble free ever since.

While it certainly is good for the spendorama's among us, it is not good for the exporters. I used to sell 80% of my instruments into the USA. That has now dried up completely, no sales, no queries from the US any more. I'm not the only one in this position.

Re: Recent Server Downtime
Good on ya Bob. Glad to see the forum back. :cl I feel your pain, boy do I feel your pain. You are not alone. Unfortunately when things like this happens, Murphy steps in and it tends to turn into a nightmare. My web site was hacked earlier this year through no fault of my own. Basically the host pr...
