Then I slot the board on my table saw, then I taper the board, glue on the binding and radius. This BRW just ...

Looking at your image the fretboard seems to be one piece ... i.e. doesn't appear to have edge strips glued on. rod_fret_slot.jpg Are the slots routed? If so, what size bit is used .... and...

Re: Semi-Hemispherical fret ends

Very interesting and useful tutorial Rod. Thanks for posting. Could I ask, is it as difficult as I imagine to hammer in a very precisely dimensioned fret, and have it sit exactly where it's supposed to sit, and not a bit off to one side or the other.

... Fret ends are kind of like a DNA signature for builders and repair folks so this one does not have David's fret ends on it and he does not use hemispherical ends either. I'll take some pics and post them later. I DO hope to be posting more and would like to be posting more here too now. More ...

More complimentary remarks from me as well Hesh. That Mahogany is to lust for. Did you do hemispherical fret ends? More seriously, the neck lamination, structural, aesthetic or both?

... Fretboard Journal. I have a quick question on the manner that the CF rods are attached. A close inspection of the photo's looks like the rods have hemispherical ends fabricated that then fit into a hemispherical hole in the wood. Is this joint glued? Also wanted to say that the top bracing pattern ...
