I friend over here in the States has the LMI rig, and it's quite a nice unit. I really like the small heat blanket for the all-important waist area.

It bends beautifully. I recommend two heat blankets, one for either side of the wood. Typical heat settings for rosewoods work fine. Using craft paper as a barrier between the wood and the blankets and steel slats helps to absorb some of the baked-out resins. Remember that regular steel or spring st...

I have a method of profiling that I'm not aware of? Hmmm... Actually, I started drawing my body shapes in my CAD software in 3D, and have been extracting out the sides. My current instrument, an OM had it's sides profiled by the cnc prior to bending, and it made assembly and getting the rim done rig...
