Thanks Martin, Essentially the line I've taken. I've now seen the damage, it's quite a long split,so very fixable. I talked about the potential for fret work and it needs a new nut. The owner is both relieved it can be fixed and happy to trust me. Good result and grateful for the work. Cheers Richard
