Hey Ben, Work look great mate. And an A+ for the amount of effort you go through. I have a booth with extraction but even that pulls dust/dirt from the surrounding area.

Re: OM size Nylon String Crossover

Hi David, Love your work. Sorry for the what might be a dumb question to all in the know... Being wood, do you leave time for the joint to settle and redo the bolts before final glue up of the fretboard?

Re: Nitro finish

Pore filling on the acoustic is essential. Just went with the West Systems. Here again being a newbee it is by trial and error. To date more error and rework but been great experience. Drop filling essential after first and if necessary the second coat.

Yes HVLP.

Re: Nitro finish

Hi Mak, I am using it and it works fine. It was recommended to me by the rep at Mirotone when I went looking for some at the start of my journey in 18. Not realising that others use 3220. I don't thin it to the level I hear others do with the 3220 but just the recommended 20% and it flows fine and t...

Re: Les Paul Junior Build

Thanks Alan, Just the usual mark out with sharp knife, rub over with chalk to get the line to show up well. Then use a 1mm bit in a Dremel to get as close as possible to the line and finish off with a sharp chisel. I have a 14' rad on the FB so it is not too bad but next time I will use a thicker MO...

Re: Pore fill question

Hi Shane, I made a rookie mistake and did not use a firm backing while sanding and had very poor results. Since changing to a firm backing while sanding things have gone much better. I use west systems diluted 30% for first coat so it soaks in and then 2 coats sanded back to wood in between.
