I've had good luck with Grover Sta-Tite open gear tuners for an under-$100 set of machine heads. Have had no issues with both slotted and solid head models. Stewmac usually have a good price on them.

Quick update - LMI reckon they may well be able to ship things like IRW bridge pins when this decision comes into effect in a December. But not fingerboards or b+s sets.

Allen, thanks for the kind offer. What material are they? I'd happily buy up to 60 pins if you can part with that many and they are a dark timber species. Another vote for labels extreme. Quality is high (higher than the quality of dishes I've bought from a big-name overseas supplier) and they arrived quickly.

stepdown transformers for blankets are a pain in the a*e....and also your arms. The unit Im using has a toridal transformer inside it that would make an execellent anchor for a medium sized container ship. Yup, they're not light-weight!
