Would you believe that "Glen 20" is also a good CA accelerant? You just have to do a bit of trial and error to not get a white finish (less is best). I learned this in wood turning class making pens;)

Wow that looks great. I see you are following Bogdanovich. Can't wait to see the finish as I am trying to use his book/video's too. Just waiting for the moisture to equalize here in wet Tasmania.
