the mould i used was just a piece of timber with slots routed around it.
you could easily make one from mdf with a drill and a hand saw, providing youre using a flat back?

I play a Maton ebg808cl and i have heaps of trouble with the neck. its a great guitar and when its set up right it plays amazingly, but the neck is realllllly prone to bowing (im currently taking it to get a truss rod adjustment once a week if not more). the guy doesnt charge me but its a p...

i've found AFT to be pretty unhelpful with my queries and what not over the last 6 months..... and that was dealing with them thru my school who spends thousands of dollars each term there

no worries jake ah its not as easy as just telling my teacher, theres all these specific guidelines i need in my folio, and tonewood selection and all this rubbish is a must if i want good marks. the whole lot is marked next year by external markers trained in marking projects. and i never get to me...

To measure thicknesses you could use Verneir (spelling??) Calipers.

Gday Guys, I've been playing a fair bit of percussive kinda stuff lately (think Eric Roche, Newton Faulkner, etc) and I'm worried I'm going to damage my Maton (look at Tommy Emmanuel's!). So I've been thinking a bit this week about the creation of a percussion styled guitar. Like an OM kind of shape...
