I have to agree with some points no one being elected D or R is really going to change anything. Yes the repubs have not been the best but the house and senate have been dem for a little bit and I haven't seen anything of significance that has changed..I don't think anything will change in the way A...

Chisel Help!

Hi All

I was looking at getting some chisels I need a 1/16" 1/8" and a 1/2" I am down to either Harold & Saxon or Blue Spruce Toolworks. Has anybody used both? Help! They are both around the same price.

WOW Hesh that is such a step up from your original Flushtone© workshop :D I am glad you have such a nice place to work can't wait to see the finished shots! I have been kicked out of my mini flushtone and out to the kitchen counter but its ok I am actually getting things done out there.

Well did'nt get a whole lot done..did manage to pick up some torch tip files to deepen the nut slots on my daughters uke and sanded the other side down. The intonation is sounding better and the action is almost where I want it. For a $20 kit it still sounds good.

Here is my first build a soprano uke kit (ala grizzly) plywood kit that was mostly done but get this it is pretty good sounding uke it has the traditional uke sound and it can get LOUD. Almost as loud as my solid sitka topped baritone uke and I can drive it harder and it only cost $20. I have a stew...

I confess I have done both the pink ukulele was for my 5 year old daughter and the black was a classical that was my first attempt at repair and I sanded past the top layer of the plywood(ewww) on the top and sides it looked so BAD that I did my best to covor it up now I know NEVER use power sanders...
