I see the Kickstarter project didn't proceed, sadly. I would still like to get a copy (or the e-book) if you have it available. Please let us know.

It works well at the moment I'm unsure that it has enough power to test a guitar, but I have an old hifi amp that does the trick if not

Getting the most from these books
I treated myself to the books for Christmas and must admit to not really understanding the design book and was wondering if there were any others like me and how you've all got on with it. I'm really looking forward to the current build thread hoping that it'll help reveal some of the books secrets ...

Don't know about this stuff but a mate used it on spalted knife handles, it soaks in as it's quite thin then he finished with epoxy.

Re: Cleaning out old glue from previous repair?
I've had the same problem on one repair, I used a wire brush attachment on my Dremel and then used a slow setting epoxy glue for the repair and it's still hanging on 2 years down the line

Re: Drum sander - finishing touches.
On the sander I made I did seal the drum it was MDF and I used shellac, as to sticking it to the drum I use Duct Tape to secure each end, I have used both the Norton cloth and paper with success, though I warn you I have had the paper tear and abrade away a small section of the bed where as the clot...

Re: Truss rod tightened to the max but neck still not strai
I had a repair where I needed to adjust the truss rod past max if that makes sense I clamped the neck into the position I wanted it then tightened the truss rod and it held fine you may be able to do this if the nut isn't bottoming out on the thread.

Wow scored some stain with an offer of more colours
Visited a friend today who messes with guitars, he used to make snooker tables for a living so has loads of stuff left over and around he'd just spray a coat on a guitar and was showing me how and what he stained the neck with and gave me some, its a very dark brown near black spirit based stain by ...

I've had some rather nasty private emails before hesh and I do believe there is a very dark side to him, but that said after he's apologised we've had good dealings.
