Hi I am trying to source an Australian supplier of African or Sri Lankan ebony and also gidgee. Does anyone know of a timber specialist dealing in these species. I can recommend Derwent colouring pencils from the Lake District in Old Blighty. They show up great on rosewood and they don't wear down too quickly. They are not cheap though, as colouring pencils go.
